Second Ring Iowa ("Second Ring," "we," "us") is a trade name of Geary Ventures LLC, an Iowa limited liability company. We provide call answering and job alert services to home service businesses ("Client Businesses"). This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

From callers to our Client Businesses: name, phone number, service address, a description of the problem, and a recording and transcript of the call.
From Client Businesses and their staff: business name, contact names, email addresses, and mobile phone numbers used to receive job alerts.
From visitors to this website: any information you choose to send us by email.

How we use it

To answer calls on behalf of Client Businesses and pass the caller's request to the right person.
To send job alert text messages to Client Business staff who have opted in.
To provide each Client Business with a record of its calls and jobs.
To operate, maintain, and improve the service, and to respond to your questions.

How we share it

Caller information is shared with the Client Business you called, since that is the purpose of the call. We use service providers for phone service, text messaging, voice processing, and hosting, and they process information only to provide those services to us. We do not sell personal information.

Mobile information. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of others.

Retention

Call records are kept for as long as the Client Business uses our service, or until it asks us to delete them. We may keep limited records as required by law.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect information, including access controls and encrypted connections. No system is perfectly secure.

Your choices

You can reply STOP to any text message from us to stop receiving texts. To ask about, correct, or delete information we hold about you, email hello@secondringiowa.com.

Changes

We may update this policy. The effective date above shows when it last changed.
